(SimCity file) and essay package, as well as what needs to be submitted the day of the competition.

Virtual City Design to be submitted to
Mary Moyer on or before Monday December 10, 2012
there will be a 5-point penalty for city files sent after that.
The Virtual City Submission Form must be submitted at the same time;
the file on the website http://futurecity.org/forms
can be filled in using Adobe Reader, saved and emailed with the city file.
Just type the teacher name on the verification line.
To submit your city, a team will only need to submit the single City Tile Square
that has their Future City. The file will be "City - .sc4"
The file should not be overly large and able to be emailed. For Windows XP operating system
Go to Desktop folder
Open My Documents folder
Open SimCity 4 folder
Open the Region folder with the name of the SimCity the region (starter region or another region name if used)
Right click the file with your city name and the .sc4 extension to send or drag the file to an email attachment to your coordinator.
For Windows Vista operation system (and presumably the same for Windows 7) Go to the "Desktop" folder
Open the folder of the user name who Installed SimCity
Open Sim City 4 folder
Open Regions folder
Open the Region folder with the name of the SimCity the region (starter region or another region name if used)
Right click the file with your city name and the .sc4 extension to send or drag the file to an email attachment to your coordinator
For Mac users
SimCity4/Regions//City - .sc4 will be similar.
Submit your files on or before December 10, 2012 to Mary Moyer, 610-640-4697 Essay Package to be emailed to Susan Best by Monday, December 17, 2012
There is a 5-point penalty for late submissions.
There is a 2-point penalty for missing or incomplete Essay or City Narrative forms.
Essay Packages submitted after Wednesday, January 2, 2012 will not be judged.
IT IS PREFERRED THAT THE ENTIRE ESSAY PACKAGE BE SUBMITTED AT THE SAME TIME
Email the files to Susan Best
Include the school and future city name on each page of the Essay and Narrative and number the pages.
The file names must include your school name (NOT the name of your future city) and clearly indicate whether it is the Research Essay or City Narrative.
Submissions will be acknowledged with a return email. If you do not receive an acknowledgment or have questions related to this submission, contact Susan Best (preferred) or 610 592 4358.
